In September 2024 after the COVID-19 pandemic, many events including study abroad fairs resumed to be organised on-site. This time, Sophia GED team participated as a representative of Sophia University in several study fairs including the annual event in Bangkok like the JASSO study in Japan Fair 2024 conducted by JASSO Thailand and Thailand University Fair Events 2024 hosted by many outstanding international schools in Thailand as follows:
- Shrewsbury International School,
- NIST International School,
- International School Bangkok (ISB),
- Bangkok Pattana School (BPS),
- Ruamrudee International School (RIS),
- British International School, Phuket (BISP),
- and the ERUC Global University Fair at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya where international highschool students around the Pattaya were invited.
These events attracted a diverse audience, including high school students, parents, and even some students who were considering pursuing graduate programs. The students and their parents could get insightful information about studying in Japan whether it is about the university, admission guidance, or university life in Japan, etc. They could get a chance to find the information directly from us and other university representatives.
The outcome of the events was very positive. Many attendees got information about Sophia University from our booth, including some who had never heard of the university before. During the events, not only the students from the hosted international high school but also the students who came from the nearby school participated, so we could get more chances to promote the university to the students as well.
We, the Sophia GED team, would like to express our gratitude to everyone who visited our booth and took the time to learn more about Sophia University. A special thank you goes to the event organizers and the hosts of these study fairs that welcome us with well-organized and useful events.
