During 14-19 February 2021, Sophia GED operated an online course “Bangkok-Based International Organization with Fieldwork” for 15 Japanese students from Sophia University. In this course, students could have opportunity to virtually visit Thailand and receive the briefings by staff from international organizations including ILO, UNICEF and JICA Thailand. Furthermore, participants could virtually visit JICA’s D-Hope Project site in Samut Prakan Province as well as receiving the briefings from community development office and leader of the community. In addition to that, students also joined exchange session with Thai-ethnic minority students from Xavier Learning Community to learn about Socio-Economic and Ethnic Minority Issues in Northern Thailand.
