We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of Waku Waku Thailand – High School Online Learning Program 2026, held across two interactive days on July 25–26, 2026!

A total of 28 Japanese high school students participated in this round, gaining a deep understanding of Thai culture and contemporary social topics while building global connections right from home.
Program Overview & Highlights
Day 1: Interactive Peer Exchange & Cultural Discovery
On Day 1, participants were joined by 10 local Thai friends for dynamic exchange sessions! Divided into small breakout groups, Japanese students practiced everyday English in a warm, welcoming setting. They exchanged perspectives on youth culture, lifestyle, and student life in Thailand, forming genuine cross-border friendships.
Day 2: Deepening Global Perspectives & Reflection
Building on the connections and insights gained on Day 1, students spent Day 2 diving deeper into contemporary Thai social issues, local developments, and guided group discussions. The session concluded with reflection activities that allowed participants to consolidate what they learned and articulate their global perspectives.
Reassuring Support & Accessible Learning
Conducted primarily in English with dedicated Japanese support from staff, the program was designed so high school students of all language backgrounds could comfortably participate, express their thoughts, and gain confidence.
